Air Transport International (ATI) is an experienced, reliable, and cost-effective
carrier operating worldwide. The ATI team is proud of its ability to meet transportation
requirements regardless of the country of origin or destination. Currently,
ATI is searching for qualified candidates for the following positions:
STATION SUPERVISOR:
Station supervisors are responsible for supervising, administering, and directing
maintenance personnel in accordance with corporate policies and procedures as
well as published company manuals.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
As a station supervisor, you will be expected to manage and supervise all personnel
assigned to the base by the Director of Maintenance. You will ensure that your
base station has adequate personnel, facilities, tooling, technical literature,
as well as support equipment required to properly maintain the aircraft at the
base. In the event of personnel movements, you will be required coordinate the
positioning changes with other Maintenance Managers. You shall review personnel
training needs and submit training requirements to the Director of Maintenance.
You may be required to provide ad hoc training in your particular areas of qualification.
Additionally, you will be required to perform self-audits of the base, review
all delays at the base, and ensure adequate communications between the base
and Maintenance Control.
REQUIREMENTS:
Prospective candidates must successfully complete a DOT pre-employment drug
screen and background check. Additionally, candidates must hold a valid Airframe
and Powerplant license and have a minimum of three (3) years of line maintenance
experience (DC-8 preferred). Good organizational skills, as well as excellent
verbal and written skills are also required.
MAINTENANCE CONTROLLER:
Maintenance controllers are responsible for ensuring line maintenance performs
aircraft maintenance in accordance with FAA, manufacturers, and company requirements.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
As a maintenance controller, you will function as the first level of corporate
maintenance management in regards to line maintenance activities. You will be
responsible for discussing all pilot reports and non-routine items with line/station
mechanics as each aircraft terminates. You will monitor the progress of work
assuring systematic troubleshooting and timely correction of discrepancies,
providing technical assistance as required. Coordinating the movement of required
aircraft parts will also be part of your duties. You will monitor discrepancies
daily in order to identify chronic non-routine items. In the event that any
discrepancies must be carried over or deferred, you will be required to approve
and record those items. You will maintain a daily log of all maintenance activities,
including all discrepancies by aircraft registration numbers. Additional accountabilities
include monitoring check remaining items, making controlled work assignments
of discrepancies, and monitoring the effectiveness of the Maintenance Program.
REQUIREMENTS: Prospective candidates must successfully complete a DOT pre-employment drug screen and background check. Additionally, candidates must hold a valid Airframe and Powerplant license and have a minimum of five (5) years of 121 operation experience (DC-8 preferred). Good organizational skills, as well as excellent verbal and written skills are also required.
AIRCRAFT MECHANICS:
ATI aircraft mechanics are responsible for maintenance on company aircraft.
They ensure all maintenance performed is in compliance with FAA, company, and
manufacturers requirements.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
As a mechanic, you will be responsible for performing overhaul, maintenance,
and repair of airframe components, powerplants, aircraft communication equipment
and associated components in accordance with Company manuals, manufacturer's
manuals, company policies, Procedures Bulletins and Orders. While performing
your duties, you will be expected to be constantly alert for defective, worn
or failed parts as well as their safe working condition. You will be required
to sign for work accomplished. Additionally, you may be assigned to such housekeeping
duties as policing your work area or repair and maintenance of company property.
You will be expected to perform all tasks assigned by the Supervisor or higher
management. If exercising your authority under the RII provisions of this manual,
you will be directly responsible to the Director of Quality Control. All mechanics
must attend all company training classes as assigned by the Director of Maintenance.
REQUIREMENTS:
Prospective candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment DOT/FAA
mandated drug screen, and background check. Additionally, candidates must have
a high school diploma, or a G.E.D., and hold a valid Airframe and Powerplant
license. Experience with DC-8 aircraft, Parts 121, 125, 145, or heavy transport
category aircraft is preferred.
PAY RANGE: $12.00/HR TO $17.00/HR, plus a license premium of $1.00/HR for each FAA license. (Maximum of two (2) licenses.)
