PSA started in Erie, PA. in 1983 to provide service to Pittsburgh, PA. It soon became a Piedmont Commuter and relocated its Corporate Headquarters to Dayton, OH. We have been operating as US Airways Express since 1989, providing regional air service to the US Airways hubs. PSA operates Maintenance Bases in Dayton, Akron, and Pittsburgh. Dayton and Akron currently do heavy maintenance, while Pittsburgh performs line maintenance. In 1996 PSA opened the doors of the new Maintenance Hanger and Training Center located at the Dayton International Airport. The new hanger houses our general maintenance, avionics, and ground service equipment departments.

PSA presently operates 25 Dornier 328 aircraft. The Dornier is a state-of-the-art regional aircraft manufactured by Fairchild Aerospace. It is equipped with Pratt-Whitney turbo-props and the Primus 2000 avionics package. Our A&P Technicians gain valuable experience while learning the trade. They receive excellent training from our own training department as well as through the manufacturers.

We currently are looking for mechanics to staff our Dayton and Akron bases, with possible openings in Pittsburgh.

Current salary:
Starting pay: $12.59 to $13.09.
Plus relocation bonus.

Employment requirements:
-High school diploma or equivalent.
-Valid drivers license with good driving record.
-Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant license.
